Substantially stronger and more powerful than previous models it also has several great additional features. Next comes the DM2000 Fiji which comes in as my favorite. And it’s a higher quality Margaritaville Blender for the money. But if you buy through one of the links on this site you will notice that the prices are discounted so much that the Margaritaville DM1000 is really not that much more expensive that the DM0500. The DM0500 is the most basic model and it will get the job done if you are on a tight budget. That brings us to the next 2 models in the lineup, the DM0500 also called the Bahamas and the DM1000 also known as the Key West.
This model has limited uses and I would not buy it for primary use at home. I think for most people the first one to rule out is the cordless DM900, unless you really plan on trying to make margaritas at the beach. So let’s get on with it and find the best model.
